Inspiration

In the wee hours of the morning I was up making some stripey canes. I was so inspired by the technique and colour palettes of  Dummer and Nichols team from the new Polymer Clay Daily's post yesterday. Although the technique is not the same (I was really half-asleep and just playing), I am still pleased with the results.

I took some old kaleidoscope canes that I had lying around and flattened them and combined them into these. I do love the colours.
Thanks for the inspiration! I am going to keep working on this until I get it right.

  1. I was excited about the Dummer and Nichols post too and have been playing with different ideas in my head to try to figure it out. I like what you came up with.

  2. Thank-you!
I think that this tutorial from glass attic may be a good starting point.

It's not what I did with mine but I found it after I made them. This would be a much better start I think.
